Our Story
The Dehghan Wilderness Lodge (DWL) sits on top of 104 acres of wildly rugged land. Oh, and it's privately owned.

Yet the area is surrounded by one of Canada’s largest conservation reclamation projects and is boarded by West Arm Provincial Park. But the biggest gem of all? The hidden, decommissioned, Gold Mine within the property’s boundary line.

Although, the minerals and the mine weren't the original draw to this place. The owner of the DWL has always had a love and passion for the Great Canadian Outdoors. His favourite way to wake up in the morning, is with nothing more than a cup of coffee and the views that only the DWL can offer.
It’s this view, that has inspired an atmosphere that is one of “Lodge Life”. Meaning here, Everyone is Family. So, join us for a trip through history and experience the wilderness like never before.
